Street Hope Alive Africa
Raising up leaders, building relationships, and bringing the light of Christ to youth where the Gospel is rarely heard
Our Beginning
Vision & the Birth of Street Hope Alive Africa
A Vision is Born
God placed a vision on Renee' Toure's heart to reach and disciple underprivileged children and orphans in Africa. What began as a calling would later become a powerful work on the ground.
Answering the Call
Renee' and her husband Farah answered that call by helping establish a church in Coyah, Guinea, West Africa. Coyah is a village that is approximately 99% Muslim, where most children attend schools focused on learning the Quran. As the church grew to several hundred attendees, it became clear that the next step was equipping leaders to reach the next generation for Christ.
Street Hope Alive Africa Officially Established
Renee' and Farah spent dedicated time in Guinea training leaders in the church and mentoring teens, empowering them to reach younger children for Christ and step into leadership roles within their community. This discipleship-focused approach ensures that the work continues through local believers who know the culture and the needs firsthand.
How We Serve
Our Work in Guinea
Soccer Outreach
Farah, a soccer player and coach, uses soccer as a powerful outreach tool. Through trainings and games held throughout the village, hundreds of Muslim youth gather regularly. These moments create natural opportunities to build relationships, speak into their lives, and share hope through genuine connection and love.
Leadership & Discipleship
Training leaders in the church and mentoring teens, empowering them to reach younger children for Christ and step into leadership roles. This discipleship-focused approach ensures the work continues through local believers who know the culture and needs firsthand.
Church Planting
Establishing and growing churches in areas where the Gospel is rarely heard. The first church in Coyah has grown to several hundred attendees, with a second church in another location of Coyah started in Fall 2025.
Safe House Ministry
A Refuge for Families in Need
They provide housing within the Pastor’s home to mothers and children who get kicked out of their homes for following Jesus.
While they live here, the women and children are cared for entirely and are given the opportunity to go to school. They are learning to sew and make garments so they can provide for themselves and their children, eventually going back out on their own.
Safe House Impact
- Mothers and children displaced for their faith find refuge
- Children receive education opportunities
- Women learn sewing & garment making for self-sufficiency
- A larger safe house is being planned

Fall 2025 Update
Exciting News: Growth & Expansion
The very beginning stages of a 2nd church and a larger safe house in another location of Coyah has just been started in the Fall of 2025. Renee’ and Farah are in daily communication with the Pastor and leaders and appreciate any help with this new project to be completed.
They will continue to return to Africa each year for a period of time to assist with the ministry of equipping the saints and reaching the lost.
